How Does Jesus Influence My Work?

In this episode, Tyler and Zachary talk about Jesus' role in our work. Work was part of God's good design from the beginning, but sin brought difficulty, frustration, and exhaustion. They discuss Jesus' own experience with ordinary work as a carpenter, why Christians should see every honest vocation as valuable, and how Colossians 3 calls us to work wholeheartedly as though we are serving the Lord. They also talk about finding our identity in Christ rather than in our careers or accomplishments, viewing work as an opportunity to serve others, and allowing our character in the workplace to reflect Jesus. Finally, they look to the hope of restoration and remind us that faithful work done for the Lord is not ultimately in vain.
